Sam Burg
Team #6 — Dos Locos Pilotos
Sam Burg may be a Dentist by trade, but there's no need for any teeth-pulling to get him behind the wheel of a car. In fact, his favorite motto is: Hand me the keys to any type of vehicle, and I'll take them and drive. Sam Burg began his driving experience at 9 years old. Now, a self-proclaimed 50-years-young, Sam says that being selected as a finalist for the U.S. Regionals "is like a dream come true." Sam brings a wide range of experience to the Dunlop team. He's not only been riding motorcycles on the street since 1966, Sam has run La Carrera Panamericana road race four times. He's taken to the track with the Porsche and BMW clubs, plus he rides dirt bikes and quads. Even though he already has six vehicles, Sam dreams of someday owning a 1969 Ferrari California Spyder. And as a word of warning, if you happen to see Sam on the road, let him by. Because if Sam could add one superpower to his vehicle, it would be a vaporizer to "zap" the slow cars in his way!
