Valerie Zegarelli
Team #9 — Team One
Focus, attitude, concentration, guts, skill and a willingness to succeed. That's what Valerie Zegarelli believes it'll take to win the Dunlop Drivers Cup. Valerie first got into cars because she wanted to be friends with her auto-enthusiast brother. The neighborhood teenagers would meet at the local mall to plan driving events. It was on these "homemade" trails around Lake Purdy that Valerie honed her driving skills. Currently, Valerie does all kinds of driving. A round-trip to work everyday is 180 miles on the highway. When she manages her paper carrier business, she logs a lot of time on scenic country roads. And when she wants to "let her hair down," Valerie can be spotted driving her dirt bike around the farm. Valerie is very excited about being selected for this competition. And she believes she has a shot at success. "If I like an activity, it's easy for me to excel. I will truly love this competition."
