Wallace Hattenhauer
Team #5 — Smokey And The Bandit
Wallace Hattenhauer is a firm believer that driving is in his genes. He claims that he can "drive the wheels off anything" with just a little practice and patience. Wallace has been working on cars since he was first able to hold a tool. As a member of the Little Rock Racing Scene, it's common for Wallace to skin his knuckles modifying his rides to go "happily ever faster." On the racing front, Wallace earned the title of 2003 Rookie Of The Year for the Arkansas SCCA. He's participated in road course events at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit and Memphis Motorsports Park. Plus, he says that the daily commute in Little Rock traffic "is like NASCAR® driving at its finest." If Wallace could create one invention in the automotive industry, it would be a vehicle that morphs into an F-16 Fighting Falcon or F/A-22A Raptor. Since it won't be ready for the competition (sorry, Wallace), he'll have to rely what he thinks it'll take to win – "strong mental preparation, focus and concentration."
